On Sunday, March 22, 2026, the 4th Kalligoni Half Marathon will take place in Lefkada, a race that has now become established and attracts runners from all over Greece.
The event features two challenging mixed City Trail courses, measuring 21.1 km and 9 km, with varied terrain and significant changes in elevation. The routes pass by important historical landmarks of the region, cross Lefkada’s stunning natural landscapes, and offer breathtaking views of the island’s unique beauty, while providing a strong competitive challenge for runners of all levels.
The program also includes a 1,000-meter children’s race, as well as a 1,000-meter Special Olympics race, promoting participation and equal access to sports for all athletes.
Organizers have secured discounts and special offers for participants on accommodation, transportation, and other services on the island, enhancing both the athletic and touristic experience of the event.
The 4th Kalligoni Half Marathon is organized by the Kalligoni Cultural Association, under the auspices and co-organization of the Region of the Ionian Islands – Regional Unit of Lefkada, in collaboration with the Municipality of Lefkada.
