For another summer, D-Marin, the premium marina company, is inviting residents, visitors, and marina guests to come together for magical movie evenings under the stars. The screenings will take place every Monday at D-Marin Lefkada, creating a relaxed and family-friendly experience in a beautiful seaside setting. The open-air cinema nights have become a popular summer tradition, bringing together the local community, boat owners, travellers, and families. D-Marin Lefkada is hosting the event for the third consecutive year, while D-Marin Gouvia in Corfu is organising its screenings for the fifth year in a row.
A Summer Experience by the Sea
There is something special about watching a film outdoors on a warm summer evening, especially in a marina setting. With the sea nearby, boats in the background, and the evening breeze, the screenings offer a different way to experience Lefkada after sunset.
The movies will begin between 20:30 and 21:15, depending on the time of sunset.
The programme includes beloved family films, children’s animations, and a special tribute to iconic science fiction films from the 1980s - films that shaped a generation and left a lasting mark on cinema history.
Ioannis Koutsodontis, General Manager of D-Marin Greece, said that the annual summer cinema experience has become extremely popular, bringing together marina guests, residents, and visitors in a unique waterfront environment. He also noted that D-Marin continues to look for new ways to enrich the experiences offered at its marinas in Greece, while strengthening its connection with local communities.
