A special evening celebrating local tradition, authentic flavours, and cultural heritage will take place in Lazarata this summer, organised by the Sfakiotes Cultural Association “O Fotinos.”
The Ladopita Festival will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 8:30 p.m., in the central square of Lazarata. Residents and visitors are invited to come together and enjoy an event dedicated to one of the area’s most distinctive traditional delicacies.
Ladopita, a savoury olive oil pie deeply connected to the local culinary tradition, will take centre stage during an evening filled with warm hospitality, music, and community spirit.
The programme will also feature traditional dance performances by the Arta Cultural Association “Kostilata” and the Sfakiotes Cultural Association “O Fotinos.” Through their performances, the dance groups will showcase the richness of Greek folk culture and bring the rhythms and customs of different regions to life.
The festival promises to offer an authentic experience for people of all ages, combining gastronomy, dance, and tradition in the welcoming atmosphere of Lazarata’s village square.
Everyone is invited to join this memorable summer celebration and discover the tastes, music, and cultural heritage of the region.
